Our most interactive location in the Museum and home to our most sought-after exhibit, Cool Stuff, Level 2 is a popular space for after-hours events. Guests can lay on the bed of nails, journey through the human body in Being Me or build the tallest block tower and their own secret fort in Project Build. A brand new facility on Discovery Place Science's Uptown campus, the Education Studio has state-of-the-art meeting spaces perfect for brainstorming, break-out sessions or group discussions. Spark is a large open space with two adjoining break-out spaces. The main area comfortably seats 30 at round tables of 5. The space is equipped with white boards and a flat screen smart board for PowerPoint presentations or films. Break-out spaces are adjacent to Spark on both sides with a capacity of 18 seated (per each space).

Bring out your competitive side with our collection of oversized games including Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Cornhole and Catapult Pong — a new twist on an old game using the principles of catapults to launch balls into buckets! Perfect for players of all ages and always a crowd favorite.
Live Science Show
Will things get heated from a hydrogen balloon explosion? Or be super-cool from immersion in liquid nitrogen? You'll just have to see for yourself at Science at the Stage.
Liquid Nitrogen Slushies

Wildly popular, our liquid nitrogen demonstration produces dramatic vapor and delicious slushy samples. Non-alcoholic slushies and ice cream options are also available.
Silent Disco Experience
Grab a pair of our glowing headphones and experience your own silent dance party. Headphones can also be used for other experiences such as meditation.
